Ingredients

  • 1 cup brewed coffee cold or iced
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar-free lavender syrup adjust based on sweetness preference
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Whipped cream coconut or regular for topping
  • Optional: Dried culinary lavender for garnish

Method

Brew the Coffee:
  1. To make coffee in a French Press, measure coarsely ground coffee (1 tablespoon per 4 ounces of water) and add it to the French Press. Boil water (about 200°F), pour it over the coffee, and let it steep for about 4 minutes. Slowly press down the plunger to separate the grounds.
Cool the Coffee:
  1. After brewing, allow the coffee to cool for a few minutes or refrigerate it until chilled. This step prevents excessive ice melting when you pour the coffee over ice.
Prepare the Iced Coffee:
  1. Pour the cooled coffee into a glass filled with ice. Add the sugar-free lavender syrup and vanilla extract, then stir to combine.
Add the Milk:
  1. Pour in the almond milk (and additional vanilla extract, if desired) for a creamy finish.
Optional Toppings:
  1. If desired, top with whipped cream and garnish with a sprinkle of dried culinary lavender for an elegant touch.
Serve and Enjoy:
  1. Stir well, and enjoy your refreshing Lavender Vanilla Iced Coffee!
